HỘI NGHỊ THƯỢNG ĐỈNH GNOME

Những lập trình viên hàng đầu và các nhà phân phối từ Châu Á và thế giới đang xếp hàng để tham gia vào hội nghị thượng đỉnh GNOME. Asia, sẽ diễn ra từ ngày 20 đến 22 tháng 11, 2009 tại Tp. Hồ Chí Minh, Việt Nam.

Hơn 700 khách mới từ Việt Nam và diễn giả từ nhiều nước trên thế giới bao gồm : Trung Quốc, Cam-pu-chia, Ấn độ, Singapore, Úc, Anh, Đức, Pháp, và Mĩ dự kiến sẽ có mặt tại công viên phần mềm Quang Trung.

Mục tiêu của hội nghị này là: phổ biến rộng rãi kiến thức và cơ hội với mã nguồn mở tại châu Á, xây dựng cộng đồng lớn mạnh, đầy sinh lực bên cạnh các dự án sẵn có. Diễn giả từ Debian, Lubuntu, Fedora, OpenSolaris cùng với những người phát triển của các dự án di động dựa trên nền tảng GTK + như LXDE, sẽ cung cấp một cái nhìn đầy đủ về thực tế phát triển của họ.

Mario Behling, trưởng ban tổ chức phát biểu: “Chúng tôi đặc biệt vui mừng chào đón một trong những lập trình viên Linux và thiết bị di đông hàng đầu trên thế giới tại Việt Nam. Trong số đó sẽ có sự hiện diện của Fred Chien từ Đài Loan, lập trình viên chủ chốt của LXDE, người đang làm việc cho các tập đoàn danh tiếng như OpenMoko, Novell, và Asus. Ping-Hsun Chen một lập trình viên cho dự án dẫn đầu của hệ trình duyệt di động dựa trên Firefox và là kỹ sư cấp cao tại Inventec, Good OS và FUHU. Cùng với Andrew Lee, điều hành viên của dự án Linux nhỏ và nhẹ dành cho trường học và duy trì gói phần mềm Debian.

GNOME Summit



The leading programmers and distributors from Asia and the world are lining up to participate in the summit GNOME. Asia, will take place from 20 to 22 November 2009 in HCMC. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Over 700 new visitors from Vietnam and speakers from many countries around the world including China, Cambodia Cambodia, India, Singapore, Australia, Britain, Germany, France and the United States is expected to be present at the Quang Trung Software.

The objective of this conference is widespread knowledge and opportunities for open source in Asia, building communities grow, full of energy next to the projects available. Speakers from Debian Lubuntu, Fedora, OpenSolaris, along with the development of projects based mobile platform such as GTK + LXDE, will provide a look full development of their practice.

Mario Behling, chief organizer, said: "We are particularly pleased to welcome one of the Linux programmers and mobile devices in the world in Vietnam. Among them will be the presence of Fred Chien from Taiwan, programmer key LXDE, who worked for the corporation's reputation as OpenMoko, Novell, and Asus. Ping-Hsun Chen a programmer for the project led system based on mobile browsers and Firefox is a senior engineer at Inventec, Good OS and FUHU. With Andrew Lee, executive member of the project small and lightweight Linux for schools and maintain Debian package.
